The bullet-ridden body of a Bangladeshi was found at Jaintapur border in Sylhet

The police recovered the bullet-ridden body of a man named Madachir (52) in Sylhet’s Jaintapur. The body was recovered from the Gobari border of Nijpat Union of the upazila early on Sunday morning.
The deceased Madachir (52) is the son of Machaddar Ali of Gobari Adarsh village. According to the police, he was shot dead by Indian tribal Khasis early on Sunday morning.
According to Jaintapur Model Police Station sources, Madachir left the house sometime on Saturday night. His body was found in the border area early in the morning. He has multiple bullet wounds on his head and back. It is believed that the Khasis may have shot him. A police official also said that Madachhir’s body was recovered and sent to Osmani Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.
