3rd International Pangal Convention held at Kamalganj

‘3rd International Pangal Convention 2022’ of Manipuri Muslim community was held in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar.
On Sunday (December 25) at 11:30 am, 51 representatives of India, including MLAs, Islamic thinkers, poets and writers of Manipur state of India participated in the 3rd International Pangal Convention organized by the Muslim Manipuri Pangal Community at the ground of GK Government Primary School in Adampur of Upazila.
Bangladesh Muslim Manipuri Pangal Community President Abdul Matin was the chief guest and former Chief Whip Deputy Abdus Shahid MP was the chief guest.
Teachers Sajjadur Rahman and Humayan Reza Sohel were special guests in the joint management, Global University VC Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman, Bangladesh University VC Professor Dr. Mezbah Kamal, Former MLA of Manipur State of India Md. Faizur Rahim, Habiganj Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Nurul Islam, Sunamganj District Civil Surgeon Dr. Ahmed Hossain, Manipur State of India AMOKK President SM Jalal, Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sifat Uddin, Retired Colonel Saleh Ahmed, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Bilkis Begum and others.
The guests were given gifts and mementos on the occasion. Besides, high-ranking officials, administrative officials and public representatives from the country and abroad were present.
At the end of the discussion meeting, an interesting cultural program will be held in the evening with the performances of the artists of the two countries. Earlier, ‘Assembly of Manipuri Muslims 2019’ was held in Bangladesh on March 12, 2019 and ‘International Maitai Pangal Convention 2019’ was held in Manipur, India on December 22 of the same year.
