Barisal BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that the message has gone to the government; The people of this country will not accept vote theft anymore. This time, the elected government will take the vote stealers by the hand and exercise the voting rights of the people. That government will be accountable to the people. So today the people of the country have taken to the streets risking their lives to regain their democratic, political and constitutional rights.

He said these things in a brief speech before the mass rally held in Barisal demanding the resignation of the government and the implementation of 10 points and the release of Khaleda Zia, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Mirza Abbas and other leaders.

The mass rally was organized by Barisal City, District BNP South and North on Saturday afternoon in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall in the city.

Amir Khosru also said that the government has already killed hundreds of people in disappearances, crossfires and police custody. Recently 13 BNP leaders were killed. Although it has been in power for so long by creating an atmosphere of fear, the people of the country have overcome fear and come to the streets to overthrow this fascist government. No power can stop these people by shooting, murdering, disappearing, indiscriminately killing. As in the past, the people of the country will win in the movement of democracy.
