The 3-day cultural festival under the guidance of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized by Moulvibazar District Shilpakala Academy has ended.
The 3-day long cultural festival ended last night.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan inaugurated the cultural festival last Tuesday evening.
The general secretary of the district art academy M. District Cultural Officer Jyoti Sinha, drama personality Khaled Chowdhury, VP Abdul Matin, Apoorba Kanti Dhar and others spoke at the opening ceremony under the chairmanship of Emdadul Haque Mintu. Later, various upazila organizations and artists performed songs, dances and poems in the cultural program.
Those concerned said that various cultural events will start from 5 pm every day. The festival is organized by 7 programs directed by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Scheduled programs are ‘Cultural programs with grassroot artists. Cultural program on the inaugurated Padma Bridge. Cultural programs for children with special needs. Cultural program titled Sonar mancha chai. Cultural programs for the elderly. Navanna program and song festival performed by district folk artists. 18 cultural organizations and 50 artists from 7 upazilas of Moulvibazar district participated in this festival.
