After Liton Das, Kolkata Knight Riders also bought Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.

KKR bought Shakib for 1.5 crore rupees. On the other hand, Liton’s base price was half a crore rupees. At this price, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought him at the last moment.

Earlier, Abdur Razzak, Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Bin Mortuza, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mostafizur Rahman had the opportunity to get a team in IPL. Among them, only Shakib and Mustafiz got a chance to play regularly. Last season, however, Shakib did not get the team. Now he returned to Kolkata Knight Riders.
