Skill development workshop at Debhata
Debhata Correspondent: A day-long skill development workshop on micro-entrepreneur formation was held at Debhata. The skill development workshop was held at the DRRA Training and Research Center (TURC) on Tuesday under the “Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID)” project implemented by DRRA with the financial assistance of Liliana Foundation.
The workshop was moderated by Sumaiya Akhter and DRRA Deputy Manager Admin & Finance Tarun Kumar Sardar was present.
Asit Debnath, CBR coordinator of CBID project, advised the participants in the workshop to make puthi and paper thonga and take the services of Youth Development Department. A total of 25 disabled people participated in the training.
It should be noted that the latent talent of the disabled should be awakened which will contribute significantly to the development of Bangladesh in the future. For that purpose, emphasis is being placed on manual work to develop the skills of the disabled. A day-long skill development workshop on micro-entrepreneur formation was held under his leadership.
