US Ambassador Peter D Haas visited the house of BNP leader Sajedul Islam Sumon, who went missing in 2013.

He entered Sumon’s house in Shaheen Bagh of the capital at 9:05 am on Wednesday. He stayed there for about 25 minutes. Then he left the house.

However, he did not speak to the media at this time. Nothing was said from Suman’s family either.

Lika Johnson, officer of the Bangladesh desk of the US State Department, was also present with the US ambassador at this time.
