Training On Tourism Journalism in Bandarban
Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Training on Tourism Journalism held in Bandarban.This training was held in the meeting room of Bandarban Press Club organized by Bangladesh Tourism Board on Sunday (December 11) afternoon. Bangladesh Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer (Additional Secretary) Abu Taher Muhammad Jaber was present as the chief guest in the event.Presided over by Press Club President Aminul Islam Baccu.
Bangladesh Tourism Board Assistant Director Md. Borhan Uddin, Sabuj Das, Assistant, Press Club General Secretary Minerul Haque, Dainik Janata representative MA Hakim Chowdhury were present in the training.Also Banglavision district representative Al Faisal Bikas, district representative of Pratham Alo newspaper Buddhajyoti Chakma along with Almost half a hundred journalists of various print and electronic media participated in the training.
At The Time,Bangladesh Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer (Additional Secretary) Abu Taher Muhammad Jaber said, “Bangladesh Tourism Board is taking various plans to develop the tourism sector of Bangladesh and is constantly working to implement them”.He said that a master plan is being made to digitilization the tourism services so that no domestic and foreign tourists will be harmed in any way.
Referring to a master plan for the development of tourism he said,96 tourist spots have been identified in three hill districts.Again it is divided into 8 regions.Bandarban district is divided into 3 clusters.Local food,diversity,infrastructure of the hills have been included in the cluster.
He said that while developing tourism, it is also in the master plan that the flora and fauna of the three hilly districts are not destroyed.Meanwhile In The Same Program,journalists working in the district and guests observed a minute’s silence on the untimely death of Badrul Islam Masud,A journalist of Dainik Ajker newspaper.
