The police are giving chase when they see BNP leaders and activists gathering in Kakrail, Fakirapool, Vijayanagar and Nayapaltan areas of the capital.

On Friday (December 9) around 11 o’clock, several BNP leaders and activists gathered at Fakirapool junction and were chased by the police.

Police are allowing people to enter after searching these areas. No one is allowed to stand inside.

A police officer of DMP Motijheel division said that Nayapaltan and surrounding areas are under police control. From time to time, some activists tried to gather in Nayapaltan and surrounding areas. We removed them.
