Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): The 25th anniversary of the Hill Peace Accord was celebrated in Bandarban district with a colorful event.On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Mountain Peace Treaty,On the morning of December 2 (Friday),The 25th anniversary celebration was auspiciously announced by flying balloons and doves as symbols of peace in the premises of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

On this occasion,A Mars procession went round the main main road of the city and gathered at Arun Saraki Town Hall.Later,A discussion meeting was Held to mark the 25th anniversary At In Arun Saraki Town Hall Peace Agreement.Chairman of Bandarban Hill District Council Mr.Kyaw Shwe Hla Presided over the discussion meeting.

Bandarban Army Region Commander Brigadier General Md.Ziaul Haque (NDC, AFWC,PSC),Superintendent of Police Md.Tariqul Islam,PPM,Deputy Director of Local Government Department Md.Lutfur Rahman,Municipal Mayor Mohammad Islam Baby,Chief Executive Officer of Bandarban Hill District Council A.T.M Kawsar Hossain were Present as special guests in the discussion meeting.Also,the member of Bhdc including Laxmi Pada Das,Government and private officials were present.
