Parents in trouble with 3 twins in Gaibandha

Housewife Sumi Begum (25) of Baguria village of Gidari Union of Gaibandha Sadar Upazila. Two months ago, she gave birth to 3 baby girls at the same time. Now the family is worried about providing medical care and food for these children.
Midwife Sumi Begum and her husband Munna Mia are in extreme despair with their children when they meet in that village of the upazila on Tuesday (November 29) afternoon.
According to local sources, the very poor Munna Mia has been living on a dam. A day laborer by profession. Day brings day eats. If they don’t sell their labor for a day, they don’t have enough rice in their stomachs. Meanwhile, two months ago, his wife Sumi Begum gave birth to three baby girls simultaneously in a hospital. Currently, the mother and her twins are healthy. However, they are not able to provide nutritional food and good medical services according to the demand. The family has stopped with this.
Munna Mia, the father of the twins, said that a family member has to go without food if he does not go to work for a day. Still, he gave birth to three daughters on his wife’s lap. The family is happy with it. However, he has to face many problems while meeting the food needs of Bhumisht’s three daughters. He is thinking about what to do now.
Midwife Sumi Begum said, I had three children born normally in a hospital. Even though my husband is happy, now he has to struggle to feed the children.
In this regard, local Awami League leader Matiar Rahman said that this family has been living in a house near the government embankment for a long time due to lack of land. How the family will raise those children is a matter of concern.
Gidari Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Haroon Or Rashid Idu Mia said, I am aware of the matter. I am looking for the family. Any government facilities will be given on priority basis if available.
