Kidnapping of two militants pre-planned: Home Minister
Narsingdi Correspondent/
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, not only Bangladesh, militancy is a global problem. The kidnapping of two militants from the courthouse was pre-planned by the militants hiding in the country. Besides, the militants in hiding have done this to reveal their location. The government is working to eradicate militancy including arresting them.
The Home Minister said this while inaugurating the new building of Manohardi Police Station in Narsingdi on Wednesday (November 23). At this time, the minister also said that if anyone of Nirapatwa force is involved in the incident of militant robbery, they will be severely punished.
The Home Minister also said that BNP’s chanting around December 10 will not work. Because Awami League always runs on the power of the people. We believe that election. I believe in the people’s mandate. And those who believe in conspiracies and come to power at the barrel of a gun have always been making one conspiracy after another. BNP will hold a mass gathering in Dhaka and seize power with a single demand, will occupy Dhaka. That’s what they said. If any disturbance is created in the name of this 10th mass gathering, the law and order forces will resist it.
Under the chairmanship of Narsingdi Police Superintendent Kazi Ashraful Azim, Industry Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Narsingdi-2 Constituency MP Dr. Anwarul Ashraf Khan, Shibpur MP Zahirul Haque Bhuiya Mohan, Dhaka Range DIG Syed Nurul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Abu Naeem Md. Maruf Khan and others.
