Saudi Arabia lost a strong team like Argentina. Saudi made the first accident in Qatar World Cup. Saudi Arabia beat Argentina 2-1 at Qatar’s iconic Lusail Stadium on Tuesday.

Argentina is far ahead of Saudi Arabia in terms of strength, tradition, and success. It seemed so in the first half of the match.

But in the first 5 minutes of the second half, Saudi Arabia shocked the world. Saudi Arabia took a 2-1 lead with the goals of Saleh Alsehri and Salem Al Dawsari in just 5 minutes. Messi couldn’t avoid defeat because he couldn’t score any more goals.

Saudi Arabia defender Al Boulayhi put Leandro Paredes in their own danger in the 9th minute of the game at the iconic Lucille Stadium on Tuesday. After seeing the VAR, the referee gave a penalty.

Messi did not make a mistake to score the goal from the penalty. The captain took the goal by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Argentina then scored 3 more goals in a span of 25 minutes, but all 3 goals were disallowed due to offside.

At the beginning of the 22nd minute, Messi, one of the best footballers in the world, scored a quick shot after pulling the ball from the middle of the field. But the goal was disallowed when the assistant referee raised the offside flag.

In the 28th minute of the game, Lautaro Martinez beat the Saudi goalkeeper and put the ball into the net. That goal was also eventually disallowed for offside.

Then in the 35th minute, Lautaro Martinez scored a great shot after receiving the ball from Messi’s fast pass. But that goal was disallowed due to offside.

Argentina went into the break with a 1-0 lead in the first half.

After the break, Saudi Arabia became desperate to score. Saudi Arabia returned to parity when Saleh Alsehri scored in Argentina’s net in the 48th minute of the third minute of the second half.

Then in the 53rd minute, Salim Al Dawsari’s goal led Saudi Arabia to 2-1.

Despite leading in the first half, Lionel Messi’s Argentina lost 2 goals in the first 5 minutes of the second half. Unable to handle that pressure, Messi-De Mariad did not return to the match.

Argentina started the World Cup in Qatar with a 2-1 defeat against Saudi Arabia after failing to score any goals in the second half.
