A child named Saiful Islam (7) died mysteriously in Joynagar village of Habiganj Sadar Upazila. Some say he drowned, while others say he died of a stroke.

There has been a furor over this. Police say the cause of death will be known after the post-mortem. He is the son of Miadhan Mia of that village. Last Sunday at around 8 pm, people found him lying by the side of the pond near the house and brought him to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Sadar police station sent the dead body to the morgue. However, the cause of death is not known.
