Gaibandha District Commissioner Oliur Rahman visited various offices and developmental works as part of monthly inspection in Palashbari Upazila of Gaibandha.

On Tuesday (November 8) morning, he first visited Betkapa Union Parishad, Mather Bazar Union Land Office of the upazila. After that, he visited Mater Bazar Government Primary School. At that time, he expressed his displeasure at the low attendance of students in the school with only two students in the fifth class and gave various directions.

After that, Nandishahar in Betkapa union inspected the rural infrastructure maintenance and renovation (TR/Kabikha) road brick lining and earth work of Bakultala Bazar. Betkapa UP Chairman Mostafizur Rahman, Upazila Farmers’ League President Mohabbatjan Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League Leader Mahmuduzzaman Margh, Upazila Jubo League Leader Rezaul Karim Lalu, Social Workers Sekendar Ali, Shaheen Sheikh were present.

Later Deputy Commissioner Oliur Rahman visited Palashbari Municipality. Municipal Mayor Golam Saroya Pradhan Biplab, Municipal Executive Officer Shahjahan Ripon, Municipal Councilors and officials were present. At the end, the upazila administration and assistant commissioner visited the land office.
