Five people have died due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. At the same time, another 788 new patients were admitted to different hospitals of the country due to dengue.

This information was informed in the dengue report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday.

According to the information of the Department of Health, from January 1 to November 5, a total of 42 thousand 199 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. During this time 167 people died. Among them, 38 thousand 295 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital.

According to the report of the Department of Health, 374 of the 788 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours are residents of Dhaka and 414 are outside Dhaka.

From January 1 to December 31 last year, the number of dengue patients admitted to the hospital was 28 thousand 429. At the same time, 105 people died of dengue and 28 thousand 265 people returned home after recovery.
