Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): Under the overall management of the Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union,a three-day training course Inauguration was held in Bandarban as part of the ‘District Rugby Referees and Coaches Training Course 2021-2022’.
Bandarban District Sports Association treasurer and volleyball coach Mong Ching Pru (Naji) was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony organized in the conference room of Bandarban Stadium on Wednesday (November 2) morning.
District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milki presided over the inauguration ceremony.
Sports organizer Mahfuzur Rashid Baccu was present as a special guest.
It is known that the course has started with 20 trainees including sports teachers from different schools of Bandarban district. Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union’s Development Manager Redwanul Khair Rahat will be the instructor of the course. The coordinator of the course is Saeed Ahmed,joint secretary of the federation.
The course will be held in 64 districts on a phased basis as the game of rugby is included in schools, colleges and madrasa education boards nationally.This three-day training course will conclude on November 4 (Friday).
