Bangladesh could not anchor in the port of victory

India is one of the best favorites in T20 World Cup. This cricket superpower of Asia was also in danger of defeat before the last over against Bangladesh. But in the last over, Bangladesh could not manage to chase 20 runs.
Nurul Hasan Sohan hits a six off Arshdeep Singh in the second ball of the over. Then 13 runs were needed from the next 4 balls. Sohan took a dot on the third ball and a double run on the fourth ball.
11 runs had to be scored in the last two balls to clinch the victory. That means two balls were needed to hit a six. Sohan reduced the gap a bit with a four off the fifth ball.
7 runs were needed from the last ball. Even if Nurul hit a six, the match would have been a draw. But could not take more than a single run. That’s why India is overjoyed with a 5-run victory.
Batting first in Adelaide on Wednesday, India posted a challenging score of 184 for 6. Bangladesh got off to a flying start chasing the target. The Tigers were on the way to victory by scoring 66 runs in 7 overs. But it all ends because of the rain.
After the rain the overs were reduced to 4 when the game started on the field. The target was set at 151 runs in 16 overs in the Kartle over. Bangladesh needed 85 runs in the next 9 overs to win after scoring 66 runs in 7 overs before the rain.

In the end, wicketkeeper batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan and Taskin Ahmed fought but could not give the team the desired win. Bangladesh stopped at 145 for 6 in 16 overs. India won by just 5 runs.

Former captain Virat Kohli scored 64 runs in 44 balls with 8 fours and a six for the team.
Lokesh Rahul, who has been out of form since the beginning of the tournament, started the rampage against Bangladesh. Shakib brought back Rahul who scored 50 runs in 32 balls with three fours and four sixes.
