Sonali Bank Ltd in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar: Kamalganj branch was shifted and inaugurated in a new building. Sonali Bank branch was inaugurated on the second floor of Haji Afroz Market in Bhanugach Bazar of Kamalganj Municipality on Sunday morning.

Sonali Bank Kamalganj Branch Manager Md. Abdul Qayyum presided over and inaugurated the bank branch in the new building as chief guest: Sylhet Divisional General Manager Md. Jamal Mollah. Sonali Bank Moulvibazar Regional Office Deputy General Manager Dolan Chakraborty, building owner Haji Afroz Uddin were present as special guests.
Kamalganj upazila former freedom fighter commander Abdul Munim Tarafdar, journalist Mujibur Rahman, businessman Kazi Mamunur Rashid and others spoke among others.
In the speech of the chief guest Sonali Bank’s Sylhet General Manager. Jamal Molla said, for 41 years, the activities of the state-owned Sonali Bank Kamalganj branch were running on a small scale. Now, Sonali Bank Kamalganj branch will operate in the new building on a large scale. There will be a separate desk for freedom fighters. Sonali Bank ATM booth will be opened on the ground floor of this building. And very soon an entrepreneur rally will be held in Kamalganj under the initiative of Sonali Bank.
