Prominent cultural personality Ramendu Majumder said, ‘We understand the global crisis. After the corona epidemic, the current war situation. He said this at the Fifth National Representative Conference of Combined Social Movements at Engineers Institution in the capital on Friday morning. The organization organized this conference by calling for the development of non-communal, non-discrimination, exploitation-corruption-free liberation war ideology Bangladesh.

In the president’s speech, Ramendu Majumder said, “We have made a lot of material progress. At the same time, our values ​​have eroded by leaps and bounds. It was not expected at all. In the institution where the teacher is being assaulted, is there not even a conscious teacher who can protest? There is no student who can protest?’

He also said, ‘Our society has become a protestless society without protesting. If I don’t protest today, later when injustice is done to me, there will be no one to protest.’

Historian Professor Syed Anwar Hossain inaugurated the conference. At this time, he commented that it will not work through any political platform to bring the state and government back to the people.

He said, “those who are in power in Bangladesh politics want to prolong it. And those who are out of power, they want, how soon they can go to power. But they all take the name of the people. For that, to bring back the people’s Bangladesh, a platform like a collective social movement should be built.

The conference started with the hoisting of the national and party flags through the national anthem. Rashed Khan Menon, president of Bangladesh Workers Party, Sarwar Ali, one of the trustees of Liberation War Museum, Fawzia Moslem, president of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad, Sharif Nurul Ambia, president of Bangladesh Jasdar, Afzal Hossain, central organizing secretary of Awami League, Kajal Debnath, member of the presidium of Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad, spoke.
