An anti-corruption exchange meeting was held with the elected public representatives at Srimangal in Moulvibazar with the slogan “Say ‘no’ to corruption”. This exchange meeting was held with the representatives of that union at Upazila No. 4 Sinderkhan Union Parishad Auditorium on Thursday (October 20).

Sindurkhan Union Parishad Chairman Yachin Arafat Rabin presided over the discussion meeting organized by Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee (DUPRAC) Srimangal and in collaboration with Sindurkhan Union Parishad.

Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee (DUPRAC) Srimangal member journalist Syed Chayed Ahmed delivered welcome speech on the occasion, DUPRAC senior member NGO organizer SA Hamid.

Journalist Md. Kawshar Iqbal, senior member of DUPRAC, explained the role of women members in preventing corruption, Vice President Jayashree Chowdhury, the role of public representatives in preventing corruption was explained by SANAK president and DUPRAC member Dwipendra Bhattacharya, and summary of the meeting was presented by DUPRAC president, senior journalist Syed Nesar Ahmad. .
Earlier, UP Secretary Deepak Kumar Sharma, Panel Chairman Abu Khair Murad, Rabeya Akhtar, UP Member Nuel Ahmed, former UP Member Md. Abdus Shahid and Head of 28 Mauza Badrul Islam Sohail participated in the open discussion. Vice President ANM Wahiduzzaman, entrepreneurial members, involved in the service of the union and service recipients were present in the exchange meeting.

In the discussion meeting, Sindurkhan Union Parishad Chairman Yachin Arafat Rabin said that he is new and has been elected chairman for a few months. He has not seen any corruption in his union so far. He does not commit corruption himself and he does not condone corruption. And he will be the chairman of the day his union will be corruption free. He provides services to any citizen of his union as per government norms. He called on the administration including the higher authorities to work free from corruption and influence.
