Unfortunately, there is no democracy in Bangladesh now: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that no obstacle can stop our movement. He said, BNP is a liberal democratic party. They do politics according to the provisions of the constitution Elected to go to parliament. It is a program of liberal democracy.
He said these things to reporters at his home in Thakurgaon on Friday (14 October).
Fakhrul said, BNP believes in freedom of speech, freedom of writing, freedom of meeting, organization of processions. But unfortunately there is no democracy in Bangladesh now. Earlier we used to say the rest of the parties. Now Awami League’s allied party Japa chief Mr. Kader also says that there is no democracy in the country now. Dictatorship is in progress.
He also said that we are agitating as a Liberal Democratic party. We have taken our program to the union. I am agitating to bring back the country’s democracy. We have protested due to price hike, repeal of Digital Security Act.
