Honorable member of district Awami Jubo League, former joint convenor of Netrokona Sadar Upazila Chhatra League and prominent businessman Toufiqul Islam Titu passed away due to cardiac arrest in his bus building in Arambagh yesterday (Inna-Lillahi wa Inna Ilahi Raziun). Bahirchapara (Nawapara) resident of his village Bahirchapara (Nawapara) the son of late Shamsul Islam (Manik) Saheb, Bad Jahur Netrakona Jame (Barmasjid) 1st funeral prayer was offered. Later after the 2nd funeral prayer at his village house, he was buried in the family graveyard.

The funeral prayers ended with the participation of all religious and social organizations including Muslim brothers. When the body of the deceased was placed in the office of the district Awami League, State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khosru MP, former deputy minister Arif Khan Joy, reserved seat MP Habiba Khan Shefali, Rahman Rahman were present. Zilla Parishad Administrator Prashant Kumar Roy, Municipal Mayor Birmuktijoddha Nazrul Islam Khan, District Awami League President Matior Rahman Khan, Vice President Habibur Rahman Khan, Joint Secretary Noor Khan Mitu, Organizing Secretary Professor Bhajan Sarkar, Former Sadar Upazila Awami League General Secretary GM Khan Pathan Bimal, District Awami Jubo League Convener Masud Khan Johnny, Joint Convener Jamiul Islam Khan Jami, Joint Convenor Dewan Ronis along with District and Upazila Awami League, Juve League, Chhatra League and leaders were present.
