The bridge is used to transport military equipment to Ukraine. Citing the Russian state agency, an adviser to the head of Crimea said that the work of extinguishing the fire is underway.
Meanwhile, Russian state media reported that traffic on the bridge was closed. The bridge in Crimea is believed to be a key target for Ukrainian forces.
