Despite Messi’s great goal, PSG is winless

PSG lost in Lisbon nine years ago. That PSG has changed a lot now. They have one of the best attacking divisions in the world. But even this time the Paris team could not beat Benfica. Messi-Neymar-Mbappera left the field with a 1-1 goal tie in their third match in the group stage.
But in the first half, Argentine superstar Messi scored an extraordinary goal. Danilo Pereira, the Portuguese central defender of PSG, ended the relief with that goal. Christopher Gaultier’s team had to leave the field without a win as he scored a suicide goal.
Lionel Messi led the team by scoring in 22 minutes of the match. Messi’s pass goes back to Mbappe-Neymar one-on-one. The 35-year-old star who came from Barca to PSG hit the net with a measured left-footed shot from just outside the box.
Benfica equalized in 41 minutes of the first half. Apart from that suicide goal, the Portuguese club played a great attack. Despite being behind in possession of the ball, the team that saw off Barca in the group stage last season took six good shots on PSG’s goal. PSG, however, failed to score seven times.
