BNP reached consensus with Jatiya Party

BNP has reached a consensus with Bangladesh Jatiya Party to hold a simultaneous movement by prioritizing the issue of caretaker government during the election.
This was said by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir after a meeting with the Bangladesh National Party at the BNP Chairperson’s political office on Monday (October 3). After the meeting, he said, BNP has agreed with Bangladesh Jatiya Party on the demand of starting greater national unity.
BNP has started the first round of dialogue with like-minded political parties. In the morning, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office held the second day of dialogue with the Bangladesh National Party in Gulshan. Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Nazrul Islam Khan participated in the dialogue on behalf of BNP. On the other hand, a nine-member delegation led by Jatiya Party Chairman Mustafa Jamal Haider participated.
