The accused who escaped from Kathgara during the court proceedings in Moulvibazar was arrested by the police.

SI Kanchan Das of Moulvibazar Model Police Station managed to arrest accused Babul Ahmed (34) who escaped from Kathgara from East Timirpur area of ​​Nabiganj upazila in Habiganj district late on Friday night.

Accused Babul Ahmed is the son of deceased Abdul Matlib of Baliarbagh village of Sadar Upazila of Moulvibazar district.

Model police station officer-in-charge Md. Yachinul Haque said that on September 27 Moulvibazar Session No.-447/19, CR No.-558/18 (Sadar) 138 of the NI Act 1881, the judge sentenced accused Babul Ahmed to one year imprisonment without labor and a fine of 80 thousand taka. provided During the pronouncement of the court’s verdict, the accused Babul Ahmed managed to escape from the court. Later Moulvibazar Sadar Thana police entered the field to arrest the accused. He was arrested from Habiganj with the help of information technology by conducting raids in different places. Later the arrested accused was sent to jail through the court.
