Besides, there are several conditions from the government regarding Durgotsava. Keeping in mind the instructions of the government in terms of saving everything including electricity, the organizers are refraining from eye-catching lighting in the puja this year. According to all the instructions and conditions, the autumn festival is being held this year.

Basically, the Durgotsava ceremony starts today Saturday evening with Bodhan. Festive mood all around. On the occasion of Puja, garlands are being built in different parts of the country including the capital. Preparations for the fair are also going on based on the puja. In the meantime, there is no time for the organizers and artisans of the temple-mandap to catch their breath.

In an exchange meeting with journalists at the Dhakeshwari temple on Friday morning, the leaders of the Bangladesh Puja Udjakar Parishad said that they are not afraid of any kind of sabotage around the Autumn Durgo Festival. Meanwhile, according to the calendar, Saturday 1 October is Shashti. According to the tithi, the bodhan, invocation and abode of Goddess Durga will be held in the evening (evening) on ​​that day. Pots of Bodhan will be placed in temples and mandapams. Goddess Durga will be seated in the mandapam in the mandapam in the form of mother in the ritual of devotee’s devotion, devotion and worship. October 2 Saptami, October 3 Ashtami, October 4 Navami and October 5 Vijaya Dashami.

According to the Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council, the number of Durga Pujas in the country last year was 32 thousand 118. This time this number stands at 32 thousand 168. Which is 50 more than last year. The number of pujas in Dhaka city is 242, which is 7 more than last year. Out of this, Puja will be held in Sutrapur police station with the maximum of 25 mandapams.
