Goddess Durga’s Bodhan, Invocation and Abode today

Due to the corona epidemic, there were restrictions on the organization of Durgotsav in the last two years. The arrangement was also brief. Although the corona infection was less last year. However, during Durgotsava, there are communal violent attacks in different parts of the country. The colorful event faded away. So this year there is concern about the security of the mandap.
Although the government side is assuring, there will be no security loopholes. And the police administration and the Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council do not fear any kind of vandalism around the Autumn Durgo Festival.
Besides, there are several conditions from the government regarding Durgotsava. Keeping in mind the instructions of the government in terms of saving everything including electricity, the organizers are refraining from eye-catching lighting in the puja this year. According to all the instructions and conditions, the autumn festival is being held this year.
Basically, the Durgotsava ceremony starts today Saturday evening with Bodhan. Festive mood all around. On the occasion of Puja, garlands are being built in different parts of the country including the capital. Preparations for the fair are also going on based on the puja. In the meantime, there is no time for the organizers and artisans of the temple-mandap to catch their breath.
In an exchange meeting with journalists at the Dhakeshwari temple on Friday morning, the leaders of the Bangladesh Puja Udjakar Parishad said that they are not afraid of any kind of sabotage around the Autumn Durgo Festival. In the event, it was informed that puja will be held in 242 pavilions in the capital. This time Puja will be held at the Kalabagan staff quarter ground as before, even though permission is not given at the Kalabagan ground.
Besides, in a discussion meeting with the leaders of the puja celebration council at the political office of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Friday, Awami League and affiliated organizations leaders and activists have been ordered to guard the pavilion carefully. And this order was given by the party’s general secretary and road transport and bridge minister Obaidul Quader.
Meanwhile, according to the calendar, Saturday 1 October is Shashti. According to the tithi, the bodhan, invocation and abode of Goddess Durga will be held in the evening (evening) on that day. Pots of Bodhan will be placed in temples and mandapams. Goddess Durga will be seated in the mandapam in the mandapam in the form of mother in the ritual of devotee’s devotion, devotion and worship. October 2 Saptami, October 3 Ashtami, October 4 Navami and October 5 Vijaya Dashami.
Every year, Goddess Durga comes with her family from her in-laws Kailas in different vehicles to visit her father’s house in mortal world (earth). Goddess Durga will now come to the mortal world riding a gaj (elephant). The result is a grainy Bashundhara. And Devi family will leave Swargalo by boat. As a result, there is a risk of flooding. Even if the omens are not auspicious, the devotees believe that the Goddess is auspicious. He will do good to the world. He will bless the children with both hands.
According to the Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council, the number of Durga Pujas in the country last year was 32 thousand 118. This time this number stands at 32 thousand 168. Which is 50 more than last year. The number of pujas in Dhaka city is 242, which is 7 more than last year. Out of this, Puja will be held in Sutrapur police station with the maximum of 25 mandapams.
