Election Commissioner Brigadier General (Retd.) said that the Election Commission (EC) will surprise all the registered parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Ahsan Habib Khan.

He made this comment in response to various questions from journalists at his office in Agargaon election building on Wednesday (September 28).

Md. Ahsan Habib Khan said, see what we do to bring all the registered political parties to the elections in the upcoming 12th national parliament elections. Just wait. There will definitely be surprises.

The Election Commissioner said, we are working for 39 parties. We are working to establish the right work. I will do that which will bring good for all. I repeatedly tell you what to do, but you don’t say. He says he is doing something wrong, but he doesn’t say it.

In response to the question of what to do if there is no participatory election, he said that the constitution should be upheld. We will do what is in the constitution. All those who are not coming (to the election) are my favorites. We want them all to come. Now if we keep calling, if they don’t come you say what to do?

He also said, to be clear – so far 793 elections have been conducted by EVM. Incident, how many chases have been chased? Because there is no profit in looting. Meanwhile, EVMs will be used in Rangpur and other city corporation elections in the parliamentary elections, he said.
