Hold the barrel of the gun, cautions Mirza Abbas
Dhaka/
BNP auxiliary committee member Mirza Abbas warned the government that the tube with which the BNP leaders and workers are pouring blood into their chests will turn anytime. No dictatorial government in the past has realized this before, and neither do you. So be careful, keep the barrel of the gun under control.
Miza Abbas gave this warning in his speech as the chief guest at the protest rally organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP in front of Bal Beam Auditorium in Banglamotor area of the capital on Tuesday (September 27) afternoon.
This protest rally was organized as a part of a series of rallies in 16 spots of Dhaka city to protest against fuel price hike, load shedding, public transport fare hike, price hike of daily necessities, killing of party leaders Noore Alam, Abdur Rahim, Shaon Pradhan by police firing. To join the rally, the leaders and activists began to join the rally hall with the national flag tied to thick bamboo sticks in their hands after 2 pm. At this time they started chanting slogans against Khaleda Zia’s release and the government.
Metropolitan North BNP convenor Amanullah Aman also addressed the rally, vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintu, party advisory council member Zainal Abdin Farooq, Abul Khair Bhuiyan, special assistant to Khaleda Zia. Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, editor Shahid-uddin Chowdhury and many others.
Abbas said that the barrel of the gun being fired was also bought with the pocket money of the people. So don’t be afraid of gun barrel anymore. He said, today we have to come out of all the barricades and spread in the alleys of Dhaka. It is our democratic right to hold meetings and marches, we must stand up against those who want to take this right away. People need to be reassured that we are with them. BNP communists have learned to let go. No more fear.
This senior BNP leader said, nothing is right in the country. All democratic structures have been dismantled. We have to do these repairs because people are looking at BNP. He alleged that the EVMs which are being bought with 8000 crore rupees will also fail.
Regarding the elections, he said that BNP will go to the elections after fulfilling the demands of a neutral government. See if the government has given the people the power to defeat BNP by creating a neutral environment. He alleged that a notification has been issued to list those who work to make the BNP rally a success at the union, district and municipal levels. This responsibility has been given to the District Superintendent of Police. However, I would like to warn you that if a leader is arrested with this list, a befitting reply will be given.
Dhaka Metropolitan BNP convenor Amanullah Aman said to the government, it is the demand of time that the people will bring down the power of vote robbery. Come down to the streets, from now on the police will be neutral, let’s see who has more power. He said that the parliament should be dissolved and non-partisan elections should be held, the administration will also become neutral. If Hasina wants to hold elections with BNP, there won’t be a single brick in the Election Commissioner building.
The monitor is what OC or SI is using across the country, they are being written down, they will be remembered. So I will tell the police to be neutral.
