At this time, president and secretary of 14 mandaps, imams of various mosques and public representatives were present on the side of the highway road of Srimangal and Bahubal upazilas.
In the speech of the chief guest at the meeting. Shahid Ullah said, Bangladesh is a country of harmony. People of all religions have been living together in this country for a long time. Ethnically we are mutually respectful of all cultures. Just as we wait for the start of the puja before Durga Puja, Hindus also eagerly wait for Eid festival before Eid. This is our Bangladesh. Those who create divisions to serve personal interests do not belong to any community. And their number is negligible. He said that the highway police will be in the field to ensure the safety of this year’s autumn Durga festival. Besides regular patrolling, additional patrolling teams are being strengthened. The Highway Police will play a role in maintaining law and order by coordinating with all agencies.
