No person will be given the first dose of corona vaccine after October 3. Thereafter a second dose, booster or third dose will be given. Apart from this, children aged 5 to 11 years will be vaccinated.

This information was announced by the Directorate of Health in a notification on Saturday (September 24).

According to the notification, the first dose of vaccine should be taken within the stipulated time to protect against the infection of the coronavirus. Otherwise, the first dose cannot be taken after October 3.

Earlier, Health Minister Zahid Malek said in an event in the capital last Saturday (September 17) that about 3.3 million people in the country have not yet received the first dose of the corona vaccine and about 9.4 million people have not received the second dose.

He also said that the special camp for first, second and booster doses of corona vaccine will be started nationwide from September 28 to October 3.
