Advocate Mohibur Rahman (75), a senior lawyer of the Habiganj bar and president of Mohanpur village panchayat committee of the city, has passed away (Inna…Rajiun).

He passed away at the Islami Bank Central Hospital in Dhaka on Friday morning.

At 5.15 pm, he was buried in the family cemetery after the funeral prayer at Habiganj central Eidgah ground. He left behind 3 sons and 1 daughter. He was suffering from chronic diseases for a long time. One of his sons, Mostafizur Rahman, is working as a lawyer in Parag Habiganj Court. His wife Shahina Begum was an assistant teacher at Town Model Government Primary School. He also died before this. His death cast a pall over the city.
