Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed is retiring from September 30. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.

According to the notification, Benazir Ahmed completed his 59 years of age on September 30 and was retired from service as per the Public Service Act, 2018. In this situation, he will be on post-retirement leave from October 1 to September 30 next year (basically retirement).
