3 people died in Chittagong due to dengue

In the last 24 hours, three people have died due to dengue in Chittagong. Among them, two died due to dengue infection in Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) Hospital. Another died at Evercare Hospital. Three people died while undergoing treatment on Wednesday.

The patients who died at Chamek Hospital are Shiuli Rani (40) and Khursida Begum (70). The patient who died at Evercare was named as Dil Ara Begum (50). Civil Surgeon Mohammad Ilyach Chowdhury confirmed the death of three people on Thursday. He said that all three died while undergoing treatment at different times yesterday. Dengue death is the first time this year.

He was admitted to the hospital after contracting dengue fever from Pahartali area of ​​Shiuli and Khursida Nagar. Dil Ara Begum is a resident of Mughaltuli area.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital Deputy Director Aung Swee Pru Marma said that 23 dengue patients are still admitted. This year 200 dengue patients were treated in this hospital.

In the last 24 hours, 12 dengue patients have been identified in Chittagong. 403 patients have been found with this this year. Three died this year.

According to the information of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health, 431 more people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours (from 8 am last Tuesday to 8 am yesterday) in the country. Among them, 328 are from Dhaka city and 103 from outside Dhaka. At present, 1 thousand 557 dengue patients are admitted in different hospitals of the country.
