4-day art exhibition ends at IU
Riyad, IU Correspondent: The four-day-long art exhibition ended at Gagan Harkara Gallery of Islamic University’s Rabindra-Nazrul Bhaban on Monday.
On September 16, IU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. M Mahbubur Rahman formally inaugurated the exhibition, organized by IU Fine Arts department. He congratulated the department for arranging the event.
Over 80 artworks of the students of the department were displayed here.
Imtiaj Islam, Lecturer of the department conducted the concluding ceremony of the exhibition while Bangla department Professor Dr. Md Habibur Rahman and Rayhan Uddin Fakir, Lecturer of the fine arts department were present, among others.
Nazmul Hossain, 2nd Year student of the department, said, “This kind of exhibition has been organized for the first time in our University. We are very pleased to participate in the event.”
Professor Dr. Mamunur Rahman, Chairman of the Fine Arts department, said, “The art exhibition has ended successfully. We will organize such kinds of the program regularly from now on.”
