Two planes collided mid-air in the US state of Colorado. In this, two planes land in two different places in an open field. Three people were killed in this incident.
The two planes collided early Saturday morning (September 17) over Boulder County, 30 miles north of Denver, police said, citing witnesses.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that police received multiple calls from witnesses about the mid-air collision around 8:50 a.m. local time. The two planes involved in the collision are Cessna 172 and Sonex Genos.
According to the US National Transportation Safety Board, investigators are looking into what caused the collision.
