Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): A colorful rally and discussion meeting of Youth Rally-22 was held at Bandarban under the initiative of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Bandarban Unit.

Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman K Shai Hla presided over the function organized at Arun Saraki Town Hall on Saturday Morning (17 September).

Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji,Superintendent of Police Md. Tariqul Islam,PPM,Vice Chairman of Red Crescent (Bandarban Unit) Abdur Rahim Chowdhury and others were present as special guests.
Bandarban Red Crescent Unit Secretary Amal Kanti Das gave the welcome address.

On the occasion,Minister Bir Bahadur welcomed such an initiative By Bandarban Red Crescent Unit and made a long reminiscence about the various great activities of Red Crescent.

Besides,Minister termed the young men and women of Red Crescent as brave soldiers and said that the young men and women of Red Crescent have run to all corners of Bandarban district at any time of disaster without taking any opportunity with courage and fearlessness.I salute All Of you.

On this day,The chief guest awarded medals to the volunteers of the district and upazila of the Red Crescent Society for their contribution at various times.

In addition,Senior officials of Red Crescent Society,Members of the organization, volunteers of Red Crescent participated in the event.Journalists from print and electronic media were also present at the event.Capability project provided overall support in the event.
