In the last 24 hours, one person has died due to corona in the country. So far 29 thousand 336 people have died due to Corona in the country. 402 people were newly identified on this day. In total, the number of infected people is 20 lakh 16 thousand 145 people.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Wednesday (September 14) afternoon.

217 people have recovered in the last 24 hours including asymptomatic patients in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 19 lakh 59 thousand 484 people have recovered so far. 4 thousand 816 samples were collected in 24 hours in 881 labs under government and private management across the country and a total of 4 thousand 781 samples were tested. So far 1 crore 48 lakh eight thousand 318 samples have been tested.

It also informed that the rate of detection in the sample test in the last 24 hours is 8.41 percent. So far, the detection rate considering the sample test is 13.61 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 97.19 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.46 percent. A male dead within 24 hours, aged between 51 and 60 years. He died in Government Hospital of Barisal Division.

It was also informed that 20 people have come to isolation in the last 24 hours and 21 people have been released from isolation. So far 4 lakh 50 thousand 430 people have come under isolation. 4 lakh 19 thousand 946 people got clearance from isolation. 30 thousand 484 people are currently in isolation.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
