Deadly border clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani armies have reported ‘several’ casualties. It is not known how many soldiers of Azerbaijan were killed in this incident.
Clashes started between the two countries in the early hours of Tuesday (September 13). Both countries are blaming each other for this conflict.
In a statement, Armenia’s Defense Ministry said Azerbaijan began shelling Armenian military positions early Tuesday morning towards the cities of Goris, Sok and Jermuk. The country’s military has used drones, artillery and large-caliber firearms. In response, the Armenian Armed Forces gave a proportionate response, the statement added.
On the other hand, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has accused Armenia of large-scale acts of sabotage near the border districts of Dashkesan, Kelbazar and Lachin.
Several members of the Azerbaijan Service Force were killed. However, the country did not mention its number. Meanwhile, the United States has expressed concern about this attack.
