Awami League presidium member and Jatiya Sangsad deputy leader Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury’s death has been deeply mourned by the president. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

They expressed their grief in separate condolence messages on Sunday (September 11) night. At the same time, the President-Prime Minister expressed deep condolences to the family members of the deceased.

Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury died while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) at 11:40 pm on Sunday. Awami League Secretary and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Barrister Biplab Barua confirmed this information.
