The police have finally managed to arrest Chhatra League leader Mamun Mia (30), who was sentenced to 10 years in the case of vandalism of Habiganj Sadar police station. A team of police led by SI Sanak Kanti Dev of Sadar police station arrested him from the court station in the city last Wednesday morning. He is the son of Raich Ali of that area. Recently, a group of youths attacked and vandalized the police station during the time of the then OC Yasinul Haque. The police filed a case as the plaintiff in this incident. After the evidence in the case, apart from the mentioned accused, he issued sentence warrants for various terms against others. However, Mamun was sentenced to 10 years. He was sent to court on Thursday morning.
