The remand hearing will be held in the court tomorrow Thursday in the presence of the accused.

A group of RAB members led by Lt. Commander Mohammad Nahid Hasan of RAB-9 CPC-1 Shaistaganj camp arrested him from Muktijoddha Chattar area of ​​Madhavpur Upazila on Monday night. The arrested Kaushar is the son of Taib Ali of Mohanpur area of ​​Mia city.

Various misdemeanors are going on in the city under his leadership. Even before this, he was arrested several times by the police due to various misdemeanors. But after a few days, some of them came out of the loophole of the law and continued their crimes under the umbrella of the police.

Last Thursday, August 25, around 8 pm, an organized gang brought the wife of Ghatak Salam of Osmanpur village of Gazipur union of Chunarughat upazila to No. 2 Pool Bypass Road area of ​​the city with various inducements including jobs. There, she was led by Cowher to an abandoned tinsheet building of a farm house, where she was raped in turn.

Later, the victim himself became the plaintiff in this incident and filed a case against 5 people on August 28. When the matter was noticed, a group of members of RAB-9 Shaistaganj camp started an operation to catch the accused. In the wake of this, Kausar was arrested on the basis of secret information. He was handed over to Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station on Tuesday afternoon. Prior to this, on August 29, the police and RAB arrested Raja Mia, Bachchu Mia and Abdal Mia, three other accused involved in the incident. On Tuesday, the OC (Investigation) of Sadar police station, Zaman, who investigated the case, requested a 5-day remand for the accused.
