In Kamalganj of Moulvibazar, with the aim of increasing crop production, a three-day farmer training on production and use of vermicompost and tricocompost for soil health protection and certificate distribution was held.

Chairman of Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Birmuktijoddha Professor Md. Rafiqur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony at the upazila parishad auditorium on Tuesday (06 September) at 3 pm.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Johnny Khan presided over the closing ceremony as special guests, Upazila Parishad Female Vice Chairman Bilkis Begum, JICA representative Md Mujibur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Biswajit Roy, Upazila Assistant Agriculture Extension Officer Md Abdul Quader and others. 40 farmers/farmers participated in it.
Kamalganj Upazila Parishad was organized by Local Government Department and Japan International Cooperation Agency with JICA funding and Upazila Management and Development Project (UGDP) support.
