Islami Andolan Bangladesh Amir and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said that the Awami League government has clarified its position in favor of drugs by enacting the drug regulations in the country. This government has lost the ability to run the country, they are treating the nation unbalanced
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at a discussion meeting on the role of youth society in building a society free from drugs, terrorism, extremism and corruption organized by the Islamic Youth Movement at the Nasrul Hamid Auditorium of Reporters Unity in the capital on Friday afternoon.
Charmonai Pir said, according to the statistics of the Narcotics Control Directorate, the number of drug addicts in the country is at least one and a half crore. 80 percent of them are youth. In this situation, the Drug Regulations 2022 will further encourage drug addiction. He also warned the government to cancel this law immediately.
Calling the Awami government the son of corruption, Mufti Rezaul Karin said that the rampant corruption of the government is dragging the country towards famine. To get rid of this, there is no alternative to Islamic rule.
