In Moulvibazar district, tourist bus service has been launched under the initiative of the district administration for easy travel of tourists to the sightseeing places. The Ministry of Public Administration has recognized the initiative as an important public welfare work.

Moulvibazar district administration has taken the initiative to launch tourist bus for the development of tourism industry. The initiative has been praised from various quarters since its inception. The initiative was presented to the National Committee on the recommendation of the Selection Committee of the Ministry of Public Administration for the award of the Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal and was hailed as an important public welfare work.

District Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan said, for this achievement, the district administration, Moulvibazar is expressing gratitude to all public representatives, representatives of print and electronic media who have tirelessly cooperated behind the scenes since the beginning. District administration will continue such activities for public welfare

It should be noted that this specialized tourist bus was inaugurated by Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Khalilur Rahman in October 2021. Since its launch, the bus has gained popularity among the tourists coming to this district. Two buses are introduced in packages for low-cost travel. Initially, the bus fare in package-1 on two roads is 300 taka per person, 400 taka including lunch. Package-2 fare is fixed at Tk 350 per person, Tk 450 including lunch.
