Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): The newly appointed Superintendent of Police Md.Tariqul Islam,PPM has called upon the journalists to stand by the development and protection of law and order in Bandarban district.

The newly appointed Superintendent of Police Md.Tarikul Islam made such an appeal to the journalists during the chief guest’s speech at an exchange meeting with journalists working in Bandarban.

At this time,He also requested to publish the news after confirming the correct information and the truth of the incident before publishing any news.

Appearing as the chief guest at the function organized at Bandarban Sadar police station hall Room on Saturday (August 27),The Superintendent of Police also said that to ensure peace and order and security,There must be a cordial relationship between police and journalists.

He referred to Bandarban district as the Bandarban of harmony and assured that the district police will continue to work in the future as in the past to ensure a people-friendly policing service including public safety.Police Super Announced zero tolerance against all types of crimes including drugs,youth gang activities, terrorism,anarchy,gambling.

In a meeting organized by Bandarban District Police,Bandarban Press Club President Aminul Islam Baccu and Secretary Minarul Haque welcomed the new Superintendent of Police Md.Tariqul Islam by greeting them on behalf of all the journalists working in Bandarban.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Ashok Kumar Pal,Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Md.Nazim Uddin,Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md.Reza Sarwar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md. Salah Uddin, Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Rafiqul Islam was present at the time.
