Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said, ‘Bangladesh is now divided into two parts. Awami League and Awami League opposition. On the one hand, those who are of the same mind as the liberation war and on the opposite side have no ideals. Fire terror, embezzlement of orphans’ money, blowing up political opponents with grenades cannot be ideal. The war was fought in the name of Mujib. After independence, this country is known as Mujib’s country.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting titled ‘Bangabandhu, the hero of the establishment of the nation of Bangladesh’ organized at the Independence Square of Pabna University of Science and Technology on Friday afternoon.
He said, we have been able to prosecute only those who directly committed the murders on August 15. We have not yet been able to directly identify all the criminals behind him and bring them to justice. The demand to do that work is getting stronger now. Hasina, the last Prime Minister of Bangabandhu’s legacy of blood, has been assassinated at least 21 times in the last 41 years. Assassins of Seventy One, Assassins of Seventy Five, Assassins of August 21, 2004, Agni Terror Assassins of 2013-14 are one and the same. Even today they flourish to make another August 15th happen. That’s why everyone should be alert and cautious. Unity should be maintained among themselves. That they cannot succeed in any way.
The main speaker at the event was National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mashiur Rahman. Pabna-2 Constituency MP Ahmed Firoz Kabir, Pabna-4 Constituency MP Nuruzzaman Biswas, President of Television Owners Association Atco Birmuktijoddha Anjan Chowdhury Pintu, Member of Bangladesh Government Commission Professor Dr. Noor Jahan Begum.
