Rumors are being spread in the name of RAB forces and law enforcement agencies using social media. The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) warned about this in a press release on Thursday night.

It is said that in recent times, it is seen that a cabal is using social media online to spread rumors by defaming the names of law enforcement and RAB forces. One such rumor is as follows.

New communication rules are going to be implemented from tomorrow. All calls will be recorded. All phone call recordings will be saved. WhatsApp will be monitored. Twitter will be monitored. Facebook will be monitored. All social media and forums will be monitored. Tell those who don’t know. All devices will be connected to the cabinet system.’

‘Be careful not to send unnecessary messages and inform your children, relatives and friends about it. Do not forward any posts or videos. You should refrain from posting anything related to government, prime minister, politics and current situation. The police issued a circular called Cybercrime and asked to take action. Notify your friends and others too. It is now an offense to write or forward any picture of any political or religious controversy. Arrest without warrant will be from today. This is very important, let everyone know. Be careful not to send unnecessary messages and inform everyone about this, thanks.’

Warning, RAB says that the above statement is completely rumor and baseless. The public is requested not to listen to these rumours. Also, those who are trying to spread rumors in the name of law enforcement and RAB forces, are warned not to spread any kind of rumours. Otherwise appropriate legal action will be taken against them.
