In the last 24 hours, three people have died due to coronavirus in the country. During this period, 167 people have been diagnosed with corona.

So far 29 thousand 319 people have died due to Corona in the country. With this, the total number of identified patients stands at 20 lakh 10 thousand 490.

This information has been reported in the regular press release on Corona related issues sent by the Department of Health on Wednesday (August 24).

According to the notification, 235 people have recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far 19 lakh 54 thousand 585 people have recovered.

4 thousand 289 samples were collected in 24 hours. 4 thousand 293 samples were tested. The detection rate against the test is 3.89 percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.66 percent.

On March 8, 2020, the first three people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the country. 10 days later, on March 18 of that year, the first person died of this virus in the country. On August 5 and 10, 2021, a maximum of 264 people died.
